UPDATE: Conotton Valley students are being sent home for the day, according to a call from the school.
Students in the Conotton Valley Union Local Schools were evacuated Friday morning after an apparent gas leak in the building, according to a call parents received from the school.
Students and staff were moved to the school’s parking lot as they await the fire department and gas company’s arrival.
