In a statement, Parma police confirmed the homicide death of a 5-year-old boy Thursday afternoon.
Limited details were released, but police say the incident occurred on the 4700 block of Russell Avenue.
The victim’s 31-year-old father was arrested in connection to the child’s death.
Parma police say their detective bureau and crime scene unit are on scene and the case remains under investigation.
