A 22-year-old student teacher in the Tuscarawas Valley Local School District has been accused of sexual contact with two minors.

According to the Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Court docket, Justin D. McCauley, 22, has been indicted on two counts of gross sexual imposition. Both of the minors are said to be under the age of 13.

The investigation stems from babysitting services McCauley provided in the Bolivar area.

In a statement released on social media last week, Tusky Valley Superintendent Mark Murphy said McCauley was a student teacher in the district’s elementary school. It was noted that none of the allegations occurred at school ‘or as a result of the individual’s service as a student teacher or guest employee.’
