A wicked fire Close down Portage Street north West in Jackson Twp. Friday afternoon.
Officials say that a vehicle was traveling down portage, when it crashed into a camper, forcing it to overturn. The camper then erupted into flames.
The camper was a total loss, burning in flames as smoke filled the sky.
Witnesses say plumes of smoke took over the area. The second vehicle involved was a Ford Escort.
No series injuries were reported.
