The father of Ace and ArCel Lucas was found dead in the driveway of a home located in the 10000 block of 13th St. NW Sunday evening, according to Canton Police.
Aaron Lucas, 29, died after receiving multiple gunshot wounds to the face, neck and torso.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Nichalous Harvey, 39, who has been named a suspect in the death of the father.
Lucas’ son Ace was killed in a deadly shooting over the summer of 2020. His one-year-old twin brother was injured in the shooting.
Lucas was scheduled to appear as a witness in the trial Monday afternoon. He was going to testify against Trejuan Johnson, the 23-year-old accused of shooting his Lucas’ sons on July 22, 2020.
The trial has been continued to September.
It is unclear if Lucas’ murder is related to the murder of his son.
