The Canton Police Department told JMN that one person is dead following a semi-truck vs. pedestrian accident in Canton just after 1 a.m. Friday morning.
Details are limited, but according to a press release issued by the Canton Police Department, they were dispatched to Kumerle Ave. and 32nd St. NE for reports of a person that was struck by a semi-truck.
The victim, who has not been publicly identified, died from their injuries.
The accident is being investigated.
