A store clerk was shot Saturday night just before 9pm during an armed robbery at the AK Firestone Mini Mart in Akron, located in the 1400 block of Aster Ave.
Police say two black males walked into the store, walked behind the counter and demanded money from the store clerk. Based on information, one of the suspects shot the clerk in the abdomen before both suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
The victim was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center where he listed in stable condition. His injuries are listed as non-life threatening.
