New Philadelphia High School’s girls basketball game for Monday, Jan. 3 against Marietta High School has been postponed.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances with COVID [at] Marietta, Varsity Girls Basketball vs Marietta on Monday, January 3rd is cancelled,” New Philadelphia athletic director Tim Fortney announced on Sunday. “The contest will be rescheduled at a later date.”
The Lady Quakers’ next contest comes on Saturday against the Leopards of Louisville High School.
