Kaiden Mastri scored a game-high 28 points in the Sandy Valley Cardinals’ 64-58 boys’ varsity non-conference victory over Carrollton High School on Saturday.

The Cardinals overcame a 30-28 halftime deficit to rally for a win that boosts the Cardinals’ record to 6-12.

Mastri scored 16 points in the first half and 10 in the final quarter of the game, while Ben Petro (14 points) and Dantae Faiello (13 points) contributed to the Sandy win.

The Warriors were led by Lincoln Mallarnee, who totaled 18 points, while Darick Miller scored 13 points in the loss.
