TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio – Dover and Strasburg High Schools were honored after the results of the 15th Annual National High School Sports Publication Awards were announced.

The Crimson Tornadoes football program was a Gold Award winner in the “Public School 501-999 enrollment Supporters/Fans-prepared” category, while Dover’s basketball team was a Silver Award winner in the same category.

Meanwhile, Strasburg was a Grand Award winner in the “1-500 enrollment” category for its Strasburg Boys Basketball Media Guide, submitted by Strasburg-Franklin Superintendent and former boys basketball coach Adam Hall.

The National High School Sports Publication Awards recognizes excellence in sports publications at the high school level and provides a set of criteria designed to ensure that sports publications are judged on a level playing field – taking into consideration the type of school, the number of students, and who was involved in the publication’s preparation.
