The Stark County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a Canton Township homicide investigation.
Deputies were dispatched to Hardington Avenue NE near 12th Street NE in Canton Township in response to a body located along the side of the road just before 9 p.m. Tuesday.
When officers arrived to the scene, they located man, now identified as 32-year-old Joseph Aaron Pomeroy of Plain Township, dead with ‘obvious signs of foul play.’
