The Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s office is heading up the investigation into a body located in the backseat of a vehicle near Trinity Twin City Hospital.

Around 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning, officials were dispatched to McKee Road just off of Eastport Rd SE for a parked vehicle. When they arrived to the scene, they located a man, believed to be John Q. Bashline from Powhatan Point, dead in the backseat of the vehicle.

This is a similar vehicle that the deceased was found in.

“Our office has spoken to family who saw him yesterday in Belmont County who stated that he was headed to Tuscarawas County,” said Sheriff Orvis Campbell.

If you have seen Bashline or his car somewhere recently, please call 330-339-2000 to give your information.
