A 67-year-old woman died Friday as the result of a single-vehicle accident on SR 800, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Officials said Linda E. Walls was heading north on SR 800 just south of milepost 26. Her 2004 Saturn Vue traveled off the right side of the roadway before striking two utility poles and a mailbox. Her vehicle overturned down an embankment and struck several trees, according to OSHP.
Walls was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said she was not wearing a seatbelt.
Alcohol and drug use is unknown at this time and the accident remains under investigation.
