CANTON, Ohio (Jordan Miller News) – A 17-year-old suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the stomach on Thursday in Canton.
Officers were dispatched at 12:44 p.m. to the 1400 block of 13th Street Southeast and found the victim in an upstairs bedroom.
Canton police detectives determined another subject was handling a pistol when the victim was shot.
The unidentified teen was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.
