A barn fire at 7989 Stump Road claimed the life of a horse just outside of Minerva early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters with Sandy Creek Fire Department responded to the fire around 3:30 Tuesday morning. When they arrived to the scene, the barn was fully engulfed in flames.
The property has a Columbiana County address as it’s located three miles outside of Minerva.
No injuries were reported to fire fighters or the property owners.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.
