U.S. gold medalist pole vaulter Katie Nageotte will be among this weekend’s competitors at the USATF Outdoors Championships.
The Olmsted Falls High School and Ashland University graduate will compete in Friday’s pole vault final at 5:55 p.m. She will also be fighting for a potential spot on the American team in next month’s world championships.
Since winning the gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, the 31-year-old Nageotte won the silver medal at the world indoor championships this past March, and also finished fourth in the Diamond League in Rome.
