Stark County is investigating the county’s 18th fatal crash of the year following a motorcycle accident Saturday morning.
44-year-old Eric Rowh of Canton was killed Saturday morning when his motorcycle struck a utility pole on Trump Avenue NE just south of Mahoning Road near the Fresh Mark plant.
Investigators say Rowh was passing a vehicle when he noticed an incoming truck, then tried to take evasive action, crashing into the pole.
The crash remains under investigation.
