A 29-year-old woman was killed Wednesday morning while walking on I-77 in Summit County, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Akron Police were first dispatched around 5:30 AM to the area on I-77 northbound near the Vernon Odom Boulevard interchange for reports of an accident.
The victim, who’s identity has not been released yet, was pronounced dead approximately 35 minutes after the crash occurred, according to the medical examiner’s office.
