The Carrollton Exempted Village Schools Board of Education met early Wednesday morning in a special meeting to ratify placing their superintendent, Dr. Dave Quattrochi, on paid administrative leave.

The board entered executive session immediately. When they returned, they voted unanimously to ratify placing the superintendent on leave.

Board president Dan Ries said he contacted Dr. Quattrochi earlier in the week and notified him not to report to the administrative office this week because he was placing him on paid leave.

The reason for placing Dr. Quattrochi on leave has not been disclosed.

The Board of Education voted to appoint the high school’s principal Dave Davis as the acting superintendent, until further board action.

The board voted to retain the services of Jason Stuckey, an investigator with Bricker and Eckler LLP.
