Uniontown Lake broke through for a good fourth quarter and a 16-7 win over Westerville South in Friday’s Division II Region 7 semifinal at Dover’s Crater Stadium.

The Blue Streaks (13-1) got most of its offense from tailback William Butler II, who sprinted for 122 rushing yards and two touchdowns – including a game-sealer with 1:55 left in the contest.

For the Lake defense, Ty Miller picked off a pass from South quarterback Dominic Birtha (5-16, 43 passing yards, rush TD), while Dequante Rhodes-Mckee led the way with eight tackles (six solo).

The Blue Streaks will face top-seeded Massillon Washington in next week’s Region 7 final.
