If you’re heading to the airport to catch a flight, Wednesday, your day may have just got a little bit longer.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that they are dealing with a system outage across the nation.

As of right now, all flights are grounded until at least 9 a.m.

“The FAA is working to restore its Notice to Air Missions System. We are performing final validation checks and reloading the system now,” the FAA said in a tweet.

The system that is down is the “Notice to Air Missions System” which is “a notice containing information essential to personnel concerned with flight operations but not known far enough in advance to be publicized by other means. It states the abnormal status of a component of the National Airspace System (NAS) – not the normal status,” according to the FAA’s website.
