Until further notice, a section of downtown Massillon will remain closed following a partial building collapse.
Lincoln Way, between Third Street SE and First Street SW, have been closed after inspectors deemed two downtown buildings hazardous and in need of emergency demolition.
One of the buildings involved is located at 20 Lincoln Way E and was the former home to Bonnie’s Engravers Gallery that caught fire in 2009.
Lincoln Way is expected to remain closed until at least Saturday as the buildings are demolished, according to officials.
