The first day of April will be accompanied by strong winds on Saturday.
Parts of Stark, Carroll and Tuscarawas counties can experience high wind gusts up to 60 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Severe thunderstorms are possible as well.

Residents can expect thunderstorms to begin rolling in Friday night around midnight with strong winds up to 60 MPH. The weather event is likely to repeat throughout the day on Saturday.
Much of the area is still recovering from strong winds that toppled trees and power lines in the area. Many residents were without power for 1-3 days – some even longer.

Weather is expected to mellow out by Sunday as sunshine returns to the area. It’s expected to be 50 degrees.
