The Canton Police Department and the county coroner are investigating after a body was found in Canton Thursday evening just after 6 p.m.
According to Lieutenant Dennis Garren, the body was found in the 100 block of Lincoln Ave NW in the “tree line.”
The deceased was a white man.
There are no obvious signs of injuries, according to Lt. Garren. The coroner’s office will conduct an autopsy to learn the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
