A bomb threat was reported at several Target locations, including the Jackson Township branch.

The media, Channel 19 and 5 News, received a tip alleging that bombs had been planted in all four stores, as retaliation for Target allegedly turning its back on the LGBTQ community.

Authorities were immediately notified, and the Jackson Township Police and Fire Department, along with the Canton Police Department’s K-9 Unit and the Stark County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, worked together to clear the store.

The threat was found to not be credible.
