The Alliance Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of an 85-year-old woman from the Beloit area.
The crash happened at the intersection of East State St and South Senaca Ave, according to the Alliance Fire Department who also responded to the crash Tuesday night around 10 p.m.
The crash victim has been identified as Virginia Graham, 85, of Beloit. Officials say she was heading east on East State St when another car ran a red light heading south on Senaca Ave and struck her vehicle.
Graham was pronounced dead on the scene. The male driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital for treatment.
