In the wake of a suspected quadruple murder-suicide that left one Stark County community in shock, we’re learning more details.
The Uniontown Police Department made the gruesome discovery when a welfare check led them to the home on the evening of Aug. 24 at 13305 Carnation Ave.
When police entered the home, with the help of a neighbor, they discovered the lifeless bodies of five family members – Jason Dunham, 46; and Melissa Dunham, 42 and their three children – Renee Dunham, 15; Amber Dunham, 12; and Evan Dunham.
According to reports, it’s believed that Jason Dunham shot and killed his wife and kids before taking his own life. According to Stark County coroner investigator Harry Campbell, a toxicology report is needed before the investigator can make a final report.
All three children were students within the Lake Local School District.
