Escapee from Tuscarawas County on the run; officials say not to approach him if seen

Brian Mosher, a 38-year-old male, escaped from the Eastern Ohio Correction Center (EOCC) in Winterville, Ohio.

Mosher, who is white, stands at 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 190 lbs. His last known residence was in Midvale, OH.

On Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 9:28 AM, Mosher signed out of EOCC, claiming he was visiting family on Barnhill Road in Midvale, near New Philadelphia, OH. However, he failed to return to the correction center by the designated time of 7:00 PM, and authorities have been unable to establish contact with him.

Mosher was last seen leaving EOCC wearing a black hat, black shirt, blue jeans, and brown boots. He has an upside-down cross tattooed on the left side of his neck, as well as various tattoos on both arms.

It is important to note that if anyone spots Brian Mosher, they should not approach him. Instead, individuals with information regarding his whereabouts are urged to contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at (740)-283-8600 or report to their local authorities.
