19-year-old from Coshocton killed in single-vehicle crash

A 19-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Coshocton County on Monday evening, according to Sheriff James Crawford.

The incident involved 19-year-old Gavin Henry from Coshocton.

Henry was traveling Eastbound on SR 541 in Jackson Township when his vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway and ascended an embankment. The vehicle’s front end embedded itself into the ground on the embankment, resulting in an overturn.

Henry was partially ejected from the vehicle. He pronounced him deceased on the scene.

Various agencies collaborated in responding to the incident, including Coshocton County EMS, Jackson Township Fire Department, REACT, Coshocton County Coroner’s Office, and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
