The Canton Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a Massillon man in the hospital.
According to police chief John Gabbard, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Alan Page Dr around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night for a shooting. When officers arrived to the scene, they located a man who had been struck by gunfire.
Responding officers aided the shooting victim, identified as Jordan Shipp, 30, of Massillon, until medics arrived. He was transported to Aultman Hospital where he’s listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made at this time as the investigation continues.
