A trooper from the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Canton Post recently halted a vehicle speeding at an alarming rate of 118 mph on Route 30 in Osnaburg Township, Stark County.

The vehicle was clocked at more than double the 55-mph posted speed limit for the two-lane road, according to authorities.
