A Carrollton sophomore is the Division II girls bowling state champion.

Kaylee Russell, a CHS bowler, finished the tournament at the top after bowling games of 231, 241 & 193 for a 665 series.

Russell is the second CHS girls bowler to win a state championship since 2021, which Cailyn Bright won in 2021.
