Malvern head basketball coach Dennis Tucci has been named the Division III Ohio Basketball Coach of the Year.

Tucci led the Hornets to a perfect 22-0 record. Malvern went on to finish the season 27-1 after losing in the regional championship to the Harvest Prep Warriors, the Hornets only loss of the season.

Malvern’s J’Allen Barrino made the cut for 1st team All-Ohio. He was a Mr. Basketball finalist for Ohio but was edged out. Barrino used his talents on the basketball court to take control of the game all season long when Malvern needed it most.
