A woman was transported to the hospital and a man was later found dead following a shooting in Tuscarawas County.
Officials tell JMN that they were dispatched to McCrea Avenue in Dennison for reports of a woman being shot. Her daughter transported her to the hospital by private vehicle.
When officers arrived to the scene and made entry to the home, they located a man deceased from what they believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Dennison and Uhrichsville police departments along with the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
The shooting remains under investigation.
