A local three-year-old boy has died after being found in the pool at a Massillon home Sunday afternoon, the Stark County coroner’s office confirmed to JMN.
Chief Investigator Harry Campbell with the coroner’s office said the child, identified as Jamier Hudson, was found lying in the pool just before 1 p.m. Sunday. The three-year-old child was transported to Aultman Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:28 p.m.
The suspected drowning happened at a home in the 600 block of Fries St SE in Massillon.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
