A woman from Massillon was arrested over the weekend in Tuscarawas County after a pursuit.
In a collaborative effort, deputies from the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office joined forces with the Waynesburg Police Department and The Ohio Highway Patrol to pursue a vehicle in a dramatic incident that resulted in her tires being deflated.
The pursuit led to the apprehension of a 32-year-old female from Massillon near the intersection of SR800 and SR416. The vehicle was brought to a near stop after a tire deflation device was employed successfully.
Upon being taken into custody, the female suspect, who refused to disclose her identity, made a bizarre attempt to provide the last name “Hitler.”
Following the unusual encounter, the suspect was transferred to authorities in Stark County to face both traffic and criminal charges.
