Minerva Lady Lions dominate quad match at Great Trail Golf Course

Minerva High School’s girls’ golf team secured victories against Sandy Valley, Claymont, and New Philadelphia in a quad match held Wednesday at Great Trail Golf Course. The Lions led the competition with a team score of 183, comfortably defeating Sandy Valley (213), Claymont (235), and New Philadelphia (235).

Freshman Peyton Beaumariage emerged as the medalist with an impressive round of 39. She was supported by sophomore Delaney Sell, who carded a 48, junior Mady Bartley with a 45, and senior Chloe Sallade who posted a 51.

Minerva is set to compete in the Tri-County Pre-Season Tournament next Tuesday at Pleasantview Golf Course.
