The Alliance Police Department reported an attempted kidnapping of a child early Sunday. In a statement posted on Facebook, the department confirmed that patrol officers and detectives quickly apprehended the suspect in Columbiana County.
Authorities stated that the child is safe and has been returned to their family. The suspect is currently in police custody, and further information regarding the incident is expected to be released soon.
