A 41-year-old Indiana man was arrested Tuesday evening after allegedly attempting to lure a 4-year-old boy into his vehicle in Jackson Township.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at 2939 Whipple Avenue NW in Canton at approximately 6:45 p.m. on October 15. Authorities say the suspect, Adam Prather, approached the child and his father, offering money to entice the boy into his vehicle.
Prather was arrested and charged with child enticement, a first-degree misdemeanor. He was booked into the Stark County Jail.
