A series of incidents kept the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office and other local agencies occupied late Friday night, resulting in multiple crashes, arrests, and extensive searches.

At 8:22 p.m., a two-vehicle crash was reported in the Mineral City area. Both drivers reportedly fled the scene, prompting a search by area K-9 units and a drone. Despite the extensive search efforts, neither occupant was located. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is managing the crash report.

Later in the night, at 11:34 p.m., Dover Police arrested a 21-year-old male in Dover following a domestic violence incident. During the investigation, authorities learned the suspect had previously crashed his vehicle near Breitenbach. Tuscarawas County deputies responded to the crash scene and documented the incident, though the suspect was not interviewed at the time due to his level of intoxication.

In the early hours of Saturday, at 3:32 a.m., a 19-year-old driver was taken into custody after his Jeep Wrangler collided with a pole and a parked car, also in Mineral City. Both vehicles involved were towed from the scene, and the driver was charged with Operating a Vehicle under the influence (OVI).

All incidents remain under investigation.
