Tuscarawas Co. man charged with seventh OVI after crash on U.S. 250

A Uhrichsville man has been charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, marking his seventh OVI offense, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Wayne T. Miller, 61, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt when he rear-ended a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica on U.S. Route 250 eastbound near milepost 21 in Mill Township, Tuscarawas County. The crash occurred around 4:03 p.m. on Nov. 15, 2024.

Troopers reported that Miller exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene. He was charged with assured clear distance ahead and OVI, with all charges filed in Tuscarawas County Court.
