The Ohio State Highway Patrol New Philadelphia Post is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon on State Route 93 near milepost 13 in Tuscarawas County.

At approximately 2:25 p.m., a gray 2006 Honda CR-V, driven by Deborah A. Davis, 57, of Dundee, was traveling westbound from a private driveway onto State Route 93. The vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail.

Davis was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Multiple agencies, including the Strasburg Fire Department, the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office, the Wayne Township Fire Department, and Finlayson’s Towing, assisted at the scene.

Alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the crash, and investigators confirmed that Davis was wearing her seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
