Tuscarawas County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man early Sunday after he allegedly fired multiple gunshots inside his home while three of his children were present.
Authorities said no injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred at a residence on Stonecreek Road SW around 1:40 a.m. Friends at the scene reportedly subdued the 32-year-old man and pinned him to the living room floor until deputies arrived.
The man, whose identity was not immediately released, was taken into custody and booked into the county jail. He faces charges of using weapons while intoxicated and child endangering, according to the sheriff’s office.
