A 32-year-old man died early Tuesday morning in a crash on Interstate 77 in Green, authorities said.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as James Mashburn. Officials said Mashburn was driving a pickup truck northbound on I-77 when his vehicle struck the rear of a semi-truck shortly after midnight on Jan. 21.
Emergency crews pronounced Mashburn dead at the scene at 12:30 a.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
The Summit County Sheriff’s Office and the medical examiner are investigating the cause of the crash. No additional details have been released.
