January 4th, 2021 Coshocton County sheriff deputies were dispatched to 23877 Hutchison Avenue with Coshocton County EMS after reports of a shooting. A male was found dead in the yard of the home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, along with a female – who later died at Coshocton Regional Medical Center.
Deputies were notified the suspected shooter fled the scene in a silver Honda Civic. After finding a vehicle matching the description, deputies initiated pursuit on CR. 621 in the Canal Lewisville area. The pursuit ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed in the intersection of US.36 and CR. 621.
A male suspect was then taken into custody.
The names of the deceased victims and the suspect have not been released.
Sheriff James Crawford said the double-homicide investigation is ongoing and names will be released at a later day.
