The Ohio Department of Transportation is asking drivers to slow down and move over when their crews are on the side of the road after a crew was struck by a truck in the Cleveland area.
In the video released by ODOT, a worker was picking up litter on the side of the road and 90 seconds later, a pickup trucked sideswiped one truck and rammed into the back of the front truck.
“This has to stop! It’s up to you to allow our roadside workers to get home safely,” ODOT said on Twitter.
