Firefighters responded to Butterbridge Farms Pet Cemetery Wednesday evening for reports of a fire.
Canal Fulton and Township firefighters were dispatched to the 5000 block of Butterbridge Rd. NW just after 4:30 p.m.
Canal Fulton Fire Chief Shawn Yerian said they found heavy smoke coming out of a building on the property when they arrived.
Officials say no injuries were reported and none of the cemetery plots were affected by the fire. The fire remains under investigation.
Although fire and smoke damage did impact the building, we’re told it is not a total loss.
