Just before midnight Saturday, the Canton Police Department responded to the 2200 block of Allen Ave SE for a car versus pole accident.
When first responders with the Canton Fire Department arrived to the scene, they located the driver who had been ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver was identified as 31-year-old Joshua A. Bennett of Canton. The accident remains under investigation by the Canton Metro Crash Team.
