A three-year-old child was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital Sunday evening after police say they sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The accidental shooting occurred in the 3000 block of 19th St NE. in Canton.
Police tell JMN that the wound is non life threatening and the incident remains under investigation.
It is unclear how the child obtained the gun.
