A fatal accident is under investigation in Perry Township. The crash happened Saturday evening.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), 64-year-old Robert Dennis was riding his motorcycle southbound on Whipple Avenue when an Acura, driven by Amanda Wright, 36, of Canton, traveling northbound, failed to yield while making a left turn at 4th Street Northwest.
The Acura turned right in front of Dennis, resulting in a collision that ejected him from his motorcycle. Dennis was pronounced dead after being transported to Aultman Hospital.
Wright suffered no injuries. The crash is currently under investigation by OSHP.
No other details have been released at this time.
